Privacy Policy

Noor ul Quran ("we", "our", "the app") is developed and published by Ashfaq Ali Zardari Store. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information the app does and does not collect, and how your data is handled.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, transmit, or store any of the following:

• Your name, email, phone number, or address
• Your location (GPS or IP-based)
• Your contacts, photos, files, or camera
• Device identifiers (IMEI, MAC address, advertising ID)
• Any behavioural analytics or usage tracking

2. Local Storage Only

All data you create in the app — favorites, collections, watch history, download folder preference, and theme choice — is stored exclusively on your device using local storage (SQLite database and Shared Preferences). Nothing is uploaded to any server.

3. Admin Module

The optional Admin module is intended for maintainers of the video library. Any data you enter there (Paras, Surahs, Categories, Ayahs) is stored in a local SQLite database on your device. Backup export and import operate entirely on files you choose on your device.

4. Videos and Network Requests

Videos are streamed from external public archives (e.g. Internet Archive). When you play a video, your device directly requests the video file from the host. We do not proxy or log these requests. Please review the privacy policies of the video hosts for their own practices.

5. Downloads

When you choose to download a video, it is stored in the folder you selected in the app's Settings screen. We have no access to these files.

6. Third-Party Services

The app contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs, and no crash reporting services. The only third-party interactions are:

• Video streaming from public video hosts
• Optional external links you tap (e.g. PayPal for voluntary support)

7. Children's Privacy

The app is safe for all ages. Because we do not collect any personal information from anyone, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 or under the applicable age in your jurisdiction.

8. Data Deletion

You can delete all app data at any time by:

• Using Settings → Clear all favorites and Clear watch history
• Uninstalling the app (removes the local database and preferences)
• Deleting downloaded video files from your chosen folder

9. Security

Because no data leaves your device, there is no server to breach. Local data is protected by your device's standard security (screen lock, encryption).

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
